Pest Control Technician – $40,000–$60,000+ Earning Potential

Compensation


Base Pay: $16–$22/hour

(Based on experience, licensing, and performance tier)

Performance Incentives:

  • 5% commission on first-treatment upsells
  • $25 for every 5-star Google review that mentions your name (up to $200/month)
  • $50 weekly performance bonuses during peak season (June–August)
  • Advancement to Senior Technician with annual profit share
  • Path to Certified Commercial Applicator ($22/hr tier)

High-performing technicians have the opportunity to earn $45k - $60K+ based on production and incentives.

What You’ll Do

  • Treat residential properties for mosquitoes, ticks, fleas, and outdoor pests
  • Complete approximately 20–25 scheduled stops per day
  • Communicate clearly with customers and the office
  • Identify upsell opportunities when appropriate
  • Deliver professional, memorable service

You’ll work outdoors, operate independently, and represent a nationally recognized brand in affluent neighborhoods across Virginia Beach and Norfolk.

Requirements

  • Ability to carry and operate a 65 lb backpack sprayer
  • Ability to work outdoors in summer conditions
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Willingness to complete licensing training (paid by company)
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
