Pest Control Field Assistant

This is a seasonal summer job.

We have professional and licensed Pest Control Technicians that your need your assistance in helping reconstitute and clean vehicles on a daily basis during the week. Currently we have 4 vehicles. Each vehicle may take 30 minutes to complete. As we grow, we could expand to more vehicles. This is a general labor job that could evolve into a Pest Control Technician should you take interest in what we do and become licensed. We can help with that!

Your Mission if You Choose to Accept It - Responsibilities as a Pest Control Field Assistant

· Emptying/Refilling Product Containers - Products are used by our Technicians throughout the day and often these containers need to be triple-rinsed and disposed of properly. Others simply need to be refilled from our 55-gallon drum. Our Technicians depend on you to ensure they are prepared to provide a quality service to our customers!

· Doing It with Style - Our vehicles are seen all over the community and we need them looking fresh and new. We have an unlimited car wash plan, but need someone who can take it a small step forward to dry, clean windows and mirrors, and keep the interior of the cab and cargo bays as clean as possible. Weekly rewards based on meeting ownership expectations!.

· Inventory Control- Another key assignment will be to complete a quick inventory each week of products and supplies to gain lead time on ordering those products and supplies before they run out.

· General Maintenance - there will be some periodic general cleaning of our training room and office also required in this role.

To Succeed in this Role as a Pest Control Field Assistant:

· Always bring your A-game. Put your best foot forward each day and make the most of your time by becoming efficient as you become proficient in your tasks

· Take the training and job seriously. You will learn the proper guidelines for disposing of products and other safety measures. We will help you get licensed if you decide to move forward with us to a full time seasonal position.

· Stay on schedule. We will notify you each day when our Technicians are returning from services, generally after 3pm, and will expect you to arrive around the time you are provided. You must complete all tasks before you leave.

· Do it right the first time. Once trained, don't cut corners. You want to meet ownership expectations for very good reasons and to avoid impact to the operations of the business. This is a key support role.

· Leave the whining at home. Some days the work will be hard. It will be hot. You will not want to work. Kick in that positive work ethic and you will show up with a smile.

· Think observantly and creatively when performing your tasks. EYou may find ways to streamline the process and ownership is open to suggestions. More importantly, attention to detail will gain you additional cash on top of your pay.

Job Requirements

There are a few minimum requirements for our Pest Control Field Assistant:

· You must be able to lift and carry a backpack, which weighs around 50lbs. (This will be your strength training workout.)

· You must be able work independently once trained and use knowledge and experience to help drive decision-making that would meet ownership expectations. We are talking basic tasks, so not a lot of deep thinking involved.

· We will be providing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for you to use for your role. We expect you to use them to avoid any safety issues.

· You must be able to handle the summer heat. (It is like being paid to go to the sauna.)

· You must be a good communicator to avoid confusion or create ambiguity when discussing any issues or results..

Benefits & Pay

The pay range for this position is $16 and bonuses will be provided on the spot based on performance.
