Your Mission if You Choose to Accept It - Responsibilities as an Operations Manager
· Happiness Hero - Yep, you are the first point of contact in the war on mosquitoes and other pesky insects that can ruin outdoor fun. Handle customer calls/correspondence for service, scheduling, invoicing, and billing inquiries on a daily basis to make sure outside is fun again.
· People Partner - Lead, train, and mentor field technicians and office staff on a daily basis in effective communication, problem resolution, and customer engagement- fostering a team-first culture while maintaining a healthy and safe working environment.
· Doing It with Style - As the first point of contact for the Mosquito Joe brand, you bring professionalism by following our Mosquito Joe process. In addition, you go above and beyond to deliver an unforgettable customer service experience.
· Communicating with the Local Office and Field Technicians - Communicates with branch personnel to resolve service and scheduling issues. Close communication with the field technicians to making sure they have the right supplies to service customers.
· Track & Tune - Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
· Chief Happiness Officer - Manage brand reputation through direct dealings with customers either by phone, text or email. Customer retention is a key element, so ensuring customer satisfaction and cultivating long term relationships is also a very important role you would be playing.
· Wizard of Growth and Acquisition - Customer acquisition is another key element to the growth of our company. Development and implementation of a marketing plan is vital to the growth our business year-over-year.

To Succeed in this Role as an Operations Manager
· Always bring your A-game. As the first point of contact, you shape both customer experiences and team performance. Lead by example with professionalism, service excellence, and accountability.
· Subject Matter Expert. You’ll learn the proper guidelines for mentoring technicians, handling customer calls, and identifying customer needs. Recommending tailored services and products to enhance customer satisfaction while driving revenue growth.
· Lead with Vision. You don't just manage tasks; you develop and communicate a clear direction for your team.
· Be Proactive, Not Reactive. Identify potential issues before they arise. Whether it's staffing, customer concerns, equipment, or inventory. Put solutions in place to keep operations running smoothly.
· Stay on schedule. Efficiently schedule service visits and maintaining efficient routes that reduce drive time for field technicians.
· Balance People & Performance. Support and motivate your team while holding them accountable for high standards of service and professionalism.
· Own the Results. Take responsibility for your team's productivity, efficiency, and service quality. Find solutions and improve where needed.
· Data Storyteller. Determine goals based on company performance, set a plan in place to support the goals, implement plan, track the results and make adjustments as needed to ensure company is performing at its best.
There are a few minimum requirements for our Operations Manager...
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Strong ability to coach and develop teams in a hands-on enviroment.
· Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications including having experience with Microsoft Office products.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· Strong attention to detail and follow through.
· Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, performance, time, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
· Prior supervisor/management experience, particularly in the home services industry, is highly desired but not required
· Strong administrative, organization, phone and filing skills.
· Some basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Benefits & Pay
The pay range for this position is $45,000 to $65,000 and depends on whether you have prior experience in this or other similar operations manager positions.
